TRPM Family Fun Day
In observance of National Slow Down/Move Over day on October 19, 2019, the Towing and Recovery Professionals of Maryland (TRPM) held a Slow Down/Move Over and Family Fun Day event at the Maryland State Highway Administration in Hanover, MD.

The day started with Sullivan’s Garage and Vinny’s Towing raising the flag, singing the National Anthem, which was led by Isabella Sullivan and MD Delegate Ric Metzgar, and followed with the Spirit Ceremony by Barbara Beatty. Mini training sessions were conducted during the day for drivers at any skill level by TRPM’s associate members. Maryland Motor Carrier was on location to answer any questions regarding weights and transporting. The Maryland State Police had their Incident Response Center on site for tours. And, there was a fun area for kids, complete with moon bounce, inflatable slide, face painting and pumpkins. Drivers proudly showed off their trucks in the beauty pageant, with the winners being M&N Towing (3rd), Rockdale Towing (2nd) and Sylverline Towing winning 1st.
